Buy Golden Teacher cubensis spores online

Buy Golden Teacher cubensis spores online. Golden Teacher received its name, due to the golden/brown color of the caps. The Teacher part is explained by the fact that it grows very easily and is suitable for beginners. Golden Teacher pushes out flush after flush of medium-sized mushrooms, growing in large clusters. In terms of power, she deserves a place in the high regions. The Golden Teacher is a classic and always will be. Very rewarding and grows on most substrate recipes.

Golden Teachermagic mushroom spore vialsare produced under conditions sterile and should be kept in the dark and refrigerated (2-8°C) to increase the shelf life of the spores.

Vial vs syringes

Spore vials are superior to spore syringes in most areas. Get the best results when growing Golden Teacher magic mushrooms with this quality spore vial. Using spore vials will result in a higher success rate in the colonization and fruiting process.

Reasons to use the bottle:

  • Longer shelf life than most spore syringes (2 years vs. 6 months)
  • It is easier to extract ALL spores from the container. Plastic syringes are often charged with static electricity, causing spores to stick to them. Glass vials are never charged, so 100% of the spores will come out.
  • Works great with liquid culture growth media. Syringes may be prepared with a different solution, rendering any liquid culture medium unusable.
  • The spore vial solution contains over 1,000 parts of growth per milliliter, compared to 500 g.p.p. ml or even less in most syringes.
  • Professional appearance
  • Takes up less space
  • Easier to transport

  • 1 glass vial containing 10 ml of Golden Teacher cubensis spore solution
  • 1 sterile syringe of 10 ml
  • 2x Alco preparations

Instructions for using a Golden Teacher Spore Vial

The vials have a cap with a circular rubber membrane. The rubber membrane, or septa, can be pierced by a syringe needle, but will prevent any flow of air, microorganisms or any other thing to pass by itself.

Shake the Golden Teacher Spore Bottle vigorously to distribute the spores evenly throughout the bottle. Remove the protective cap from the top of the bottle and sterilize the septa with an alcohol preparation. Unpack the sterile syringe and remove the protective needle cap. Insert the syringe needle through the septa.

The tip of the needle should be immersed in the spore solution. Slowly pull back the syringe plunger so that the syringe fills with spore solution. Only 3 milliliters of spore solution is needed to colonize 1 liter / 1.05 pint of substrate. After filling the syringe with the required amount of spore solution, slowly withdraw the needle from the vial.
To get from here to the inoculation process, you have several methods to choose from:

Deposit the spore solution on the substrate

After preparing your own substrate or cakes, you can drop the Golden Teacher spore solution directly from the syringe onto it. Slowly press the plunger so that droplets of spore solution come out of the needle. Each drop that will be in contact with the substrate is a potential growth point for the mycelium. Spread these droplets on the substrate evenly to colonize the substrate with mycelium.

Injection through the injection ports

This is almost identical to dropping the spore solution onto the substrate. Open the injection port by pulling on the port protection cap. Use alcohol preparation to sterilize the entrance to the injection port. Pierce the opening with the needle. Now, drop the spore solution evenly onto the substrate inside the spawn bag or grow box. After the Golden Teacher Spore Solution is injected, remove the syringe and close the injection port with the port protection cap.

Liquid culture for faster colonization and stronger mycelium

When injecting Golden Teacher spore solution into a “nutrient bath,” such as liquid culture medium, spores form into mycelium inside this liquid suspension. This is called liquid culture or LC for short. The liquid culture medium itself can be used to inoculate the substrate and cakes. Liquid culture growing medium has a higher success rate and will be much more reliable than trying to germinate the spores without using LC. In short: Using LC will increase the chance of getting mushrooms.

Note: Liquid culture medium will not work well with our spore syringes.

Study the spores and do research using a microscope

Seen from a scientific point of view; All Psilocybe cubensis look alike. But they differ slightly in appearance and fruiting speed (phenotype). There are many Psilocybe cubensis that have different phenotypes. These different cubensis are not considered subspecies, but different strains. Golden Teacher is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis.

Phenotype differences can be seen with the naked eye, but the real beauty is under the microscope. The wonderful world of spores. Many of our customers are scientists researching these differences in a home laboratory. After preparing your microscope slide, place some of the Golden Teacher spore solution on it. Cover the specimen with a microscope covering the glass. The best magnification for research on Psilocybe cubensis and Panaeolus cyanescens spores is 1000x or higher.

The syringe and its reuse

After using the syringe to inoculate the substrate, cake or LC with Golden Teacher, you can reuse the empty syringe after sterilizing the needle. This can be done with an alcohol burner or a lighter. Burn the needle by keeping it in the flame long enough to make it glow orange. Let it cool before inserting the needle again. Instead of reusing one, you can also order a sterile needle separately.

Store the Golden Teacher bottle in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C or 35°F and 46°F. Leave the “protective septa cap” in place when storing the vial. After removing this protective cap, always sterilize the septa with alco prep before inserting the syringe.

Golden Teacher spore vials can be stored this way for 2 years after leaving our warehouse.
