Buy B+ Cubensis magic mushroom spore syringe online
B+20ccMagic Mushroom Spore Syringes are produced under sterile conditions and should be stored in the dark and refrigerated (2-8°C) to increase the shelf life of cubensis spores.
- 1 x 20 cc of B+ spore solution in a 20 ml syringe
- 1x sterile needle
- 4 x alcohol preparation/exchange
Why these syringes are better than other spore syringes
- The spores are 100% free of contaminants and are very resistant to contaminants after leaving the syringe.
- Improved shelf life. More than 6 months older; now 18 months.
- Spores no longer stick to the sides of the syringes, therefore easier to handle and more parts per milliliter (500 gpp ml).
- Contains nutrients to “restart” the spores during inoculation.
- The solution strengthens the resistance of the mycelium.
- Faster colonization of substrate and cakes.
How to use the B+ Spore Syringe
The B+ spore solution is held inside the syringe by a Luer Lock cap at the end where the needle goes. With this Luer Lock cap attached, it is easier to carry and store the B+ Spore Syringe.
Make sure you work as hygienically as possible. Wear a face mask and sterile gloves and/or sanitize your hands. Hold the B+ spore syringe in front of you with the luer lock cap pointing up. Remove the Luer Lock cap by screwing it counterclockwise. Take the needle out of the sterile package and screw it onto the B+ spore syringe. Shake the spore syringe vigorously for ten seconds before removing the protective needle cap.
To continue from here, you have several methods to choose from:
Deposit the spore solution on the substrate
After preparing your own substrate or cakes, you can drop the B+ spore solution directly from the syringe onto them. Slowly press the plunger so that drops of spore solution come out of the needle. Each drop that will be in contact with the substrate will be a potential mycelium growth point, so spread these drops all over the substrate to evenly colonize the substrate with mycelium.
How many cakes can you make with a spore syringe?
One 20 cc/ml spore syringe can easily colonize 6 liters / 13 pints of substrate.
Injection through the injection ports
This is almost identical to dropping the spore solution onto the substrate. Open the injection port by pulling on the port protection cap. Use alcohol preparation to sterilize the entrance to the injection port. Pierce the opening with the needle. Now, drop the spore solution evenly onto the substrate inside the spawn bag or grow box. After the B+ spore solution is injected, remove the syringe and close the injection port with the port protection cap.
Study the spores and do research using a microscope
Seen from a scientific point of view; all Psilocybe cubensis look the same. But they differ slightly in appearance and fruiting speed (phenotype). There are many Psilocybe cubensis that have different phenotypes. These different cubensis are not considered subspecies, but different strains. B+ is a strain of Psilocybe cubensis.
Phenotype differences can be seen with the naked eye, but the real beauty is under the microscope. The wonderful world of spores. Many of our customers are scientists or enthusiasts, researching these differences in a home laboratory. After preparing your microscope slide, place some of the B+ spore solution on it. Cover the specimen with a microscope covering the glass. The best magnification for research on Psilocybe cubensis and Panaeolus cyanescens spores is 1000x or higher.
Using Liquid Culture Media with the Spore Syringe
Add only a few ml (drops) of the B+ cubensis spores to a liquid culture medium. 1-2 ml of spores is enough, but add a few more drops, just to be sure. We recommend using Sporemate Liquid Culture Vails, but we would like to hear your feedback on your results with your own liquid culture.
How to store a spore syringe
The B+ Spore Syringe should be stored in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C or 35°F and 46°F. The shelf life of the spore syringe is at least 12 months after they leave our warehouse.
