How to use the Ecuador Spore Syringe

Make sure you work as cleanly as possible. Use a face mask, sterile gloves, and/or hand sanitizer. Hold the Ecuador spore syringe with the Luer Lock cap pointed up in front of you. Remove the lever lock cap by unscrewing it counterclockwise. Remove the needle from its sterile package and attach it to the spore syringe. Shake the spore syringe vigorously for 10 seconds before removing the protective needle cap.

Deposit the spore solution on the substrate

After preparing your own substrate or cakes, you can immediately apply the Ecuador spore solution from the syringe. Slowly press the plunger so that drops of spore solution come out of the needle. Each droplet that comes into contact with the substrate will serve as a site for possible mycelium growth, so distribute these droplets evenly around the substrate to populate it with mycelium.

Injection through the injection ports

This is almost identical to dropping the spore solution onto the substrate. Open the injection port by pulling on the port protection cap. Using Liquid Culture Media with the Spore Syringe

The special solution in which the Ecuador cubensis spores are dissolved restarts the growth of the mycelium. We do not recommend using liquid growing medium to achieve stronger mycelium. How to store a spore syringe
