Rye Grain is a reliable and easy-to-use substrate for growing almost all types of edible and exotic mushroom varieties. Unlike other sites, we use wide-mouth glass jars that allow the colonized substrate to slide out easily, giving you many growing options.

Each pot is ¾ filled with our nutrient-enriched organic rye berries and a blend of distilled and mineral water enriched with gypsum, diammonium phosphate (a fertilizer or nutrient to provide adequate nitrogen and correct pH), and other nutrients. enhance herbs and minerals.

Each pot lid contains a Tyvek filter disc for proper gas exchange and a self-healing injector port for error-free inoculation. Jars are sterilized and ready to use right out of the box! Simply inject 2-4 ml of your favorite spore solution or liquid culture, and you’re done.
